Vanessa has an array of TV & Film credits to her name including Shortland Street, Lord of the Rings,
NARNIA - The Lion Witch & the Wardrobe, Spartacus and more recently - The Hobbit
She has participated in runway modeling & photographic shoots. She has completed her Diploma of Performing Arts
and several model courses including Masie Bestal Cohen's (NOVA) Advanced Course.She has taken part in many runway
parades and for two years organised and ran the Manawatu Young Model Search Competition
She has television parts and TVCs to her credit and seen on TV3 as co host of Suzuki 4X4 Xtreme (see below).
Vanessa works through Sharon Powert Management and is available for all types of television and live work.

The new series of.. "SUZUKI4X4XTREME" went to air and as well as a hot new look, there were two
other changes you're likely to have noticed ... the new hosts, Chace Rodda and Vanessa Cater.
Chace Rodda, from Napier, is a chairperson of the Trial Committee and has competed in nearly
200 rallies. Chace is passionate about the sport and will give you all the inside information to help
you fully understand the sport.
Vanessa brought a female perspective to the show and helped get other newbies up to speed with
the ins and outs of Xtreme 4x4.
